Beard Oil

Beard oil is a mix of carrier oils blended with natural and essential oils designed to nourish the skin, while softening and conditioning your beard. The right blend of these ingredients can keep your beard growing healthy and make it smell great!

Beard hair tends to be rougher than the hair on your head so it requires it's own self-care regimen. Beard oil is a key component of self-care because it moisturizes the beard hair to keep it looking fuller, softer, and thicker, while keeping the skin underneath the beard supple and healthy.

While most beard oil brands contain just a few carrier oils in their beard oil, we blend EIGHT - 100% Natural Carrier Oils and infuse 100% Natural Essential Oil and Fragrance Oil Blends with them to maximize your beard care experience. We use the following high-quality ingredients in our NuYu Beard Oil: 

• Argan Oil
• Avocado Oil
• Castor Oil
• D-Alpha Tocopherol (Pure Vitamin E Oil)
• Jojoba Oil
• Rosehip Oil
• Sunflower Oil
• Sweet Almond Oil 

Beard oil should be applied daily, typically in the morning or after showering and shampooing your beard (or after washing your face), so that your pores are open and your skin can more easily absorb the oil. You may also reapply in the evening if you feel your beard needs the extra conditioning. If you blow dry your beard, you can apply beard oil before and after. Remember to towel dry your beard first, keep the blow dryer temperature on the lowest setting, and hold it about 6 inches away so you don't fry your beard.  While beard oil can be used as a stand alone product, we recommend using beard balm in conjunction with beard oil for maximum results.

How to apply:

1. You want to start with a small dose of beard oil to avoid making your beard too greasy. 
2. Put three to six drops in the palms of your hands and rub them together.
3. Longer or thicker beards may need to use a little more oil.
4. Massage it into your skin with your fingers and then coat your beard with your palms, working it through the entire beard...and don't forget the moustache! 
5. Evenly distribute the oil using a boars hair brush or wooden comb.
6. Style away!
